Robby Cyron: Figura animalis

Photographs from this series show portrayed on a black background ... horses and chickens - Cyron reflects their nature with the finesse and sense of the Dutch painter. The fascination of Cyron started with a decorative chicken from the Leon Tarasewicz bird collection. A well-known painter lent her to a photo session for a fashion magazine. The living cock was one of many elements of the set, but it attracted the photographer's attention. At the moment when his plumage in the light of the lamps flashed with a riot of colors, Robby Cyron realized that he had just found a new object of photographic fascination. "Animalis Figure" is an ambiguous title because the Latin word animalis refers not only to the animal, but above all to life and vitality, and the vital anima can also be identified with the soul. So it is with animals on the lens of Cyron. The artist is looking for new canons of beauty in the animal world.
