Jaroslav Kyša (* 1981) an internationally exhibited artist reflecting on contemporary society through the use of multimedia. Kyša confronts the viewer with the laws of physics and the nature contemplating upon humanity and its geopolitical issues. “By corruption of basic human beliefs and knowledge about physical principles, I encourage questioning of general certitudes.” Multiple award winner and residency artist Jaroslav Kyša recited awards such as Szpilman Award (2011), has been a finalist of the Oskár Čepan Award for young artists (2014), participated at the Brooklyn Langer residency in New York (2015) and at the Halle 14 artist residency in Germany (2013). Jaroslav Kyša presented his practice through multiple solo and group exhibitions. Lives and works in Bratislava.
