Emil Ławecki
Born in 1986, in 2015 he graduated with honours from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, having studied voice with Professor Ryszard Karczykowski. While still a student, he won the 1st prize in the 3rd Polish National Vocal Competition in Mława (2014). He made his debut at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in a student performance of Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He continues to work with the opera company as well as the Warsaw Chamber Opera, M-theatre and the National Philharmonic. Since 2014 he has been a participant in Opera Academy – the Young Talents Development Programme of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera.
