Although the modern electronic scene has grown enormously, it is difficult to find a character as expressive as Ellen Allien. The German woman stands behind the acclaimed BPitch Control label, which presented Paul Kalkbrenner’s, Moderat’s and Apparat’s albums to the world. She also produces her own material and constantly presents the audience with an eclectic vision of electronics, traveling around the world.
From 1991 started working as a DJ in Berlin Fischlabor and became resident and performed in the clubs Bunker, Tresor and E-Werk. Before she founded BPitch she started her own label Braincandy and got her own show at the radio station Kiss FM.
