Eivør

Eivør will perform in Poznań's Meskalina on the 12th of October. Eivør is a vocalist, instrumentalist and songwriter endowed with a beautiful, unprecedented voice. She comes from the Faroe Islands. She grew up in a small village of Gřta, inhabited by about 500 people. There, she grew up surrounded by unique nature, as well as the unusual Faroese tradition and culture. Her parents and grandparents instilled in her the love for ancient songs and folk ballads. Family singing in her home was something natural. The music served by Eivør changes permanently. She played folk music, but also jazz, country, classics and trip-hop rock.
