E-Werk
In 1992, the E-Werk was discovered as a former transformer station, which has been under a preservation order since 1987, by Planet Club Crew member Andreas Rossmann. One year later already the first techno party followed and in 1994 the first large-scale exhibition Chromapark was held, which focused exclusively on techno art. Until the summer of 1997, different party formats such as Dubmission, Twirl or special events for the Berlin Loveparade took place and Berlin's party culture found a new setting. In July 1997, the E-Werk was closed as a techno club.
Today, the E-Werk is available for various events. Concerts, exhibitions or parties take place in the two event halls, Hall C and Hall F, and the highlight of the building is the spacious roof terrace, which offers a breathtaking view over Berlin.
