Dům zemědělské osvěty

The House of Agricultural Enlightenment is a three-winged corner building on Římská, Blanická and Slezská Streets in Prague Vinohrady.

The House of Agricultural Enlightenment by the architect Josef Gočár from 1924-1936 was (and perhaps still is) perceived as a symbol of a modern city, progress and a modern way of life. On the site where the house stands, however, was the Seidlovka homestead, which had the character of a village building and thus referred more to the past. The building is located in the City Conservation Zone Vinohrady, Žižkov, Vršovice and is also an independent cultural monument.
