DOCK 11
DOCK 11 EDEN is part of the diverse and international dance scene and connects the areas of production, pedagogy and presentation spatially and structurally. This connection leads artists, pupils, lecturers, audiences and visitors to various changes of perspectives, overlaps, synergies, mutual interest and understanding. The focus on dance, supplemented by theatre, performance, literature, music, fine art, film and club art is interdisciplinary interwoven.
In 80 courses around 900 students aged 2 to over 60 years dance weekly, from beginners to professionals. An international team of lecturers with many actors (choreographers and dancers) of the Berlin, national and international dance scene are teaching.
The many years of successful and high-quality stage program in DOCK 11 usually changes weekly. Within the Berlin theatre scene, DOCK 11 is now the only theatre that presents dance all year round.
