Djavena
Djavena is a band creating music from the border of progressive metal with elements inspired by Slavic folk. The lyrics are written in Pre-Slavic language and reconstructed for the project. Djavena combines modern heavy sounds with Slavic soul from the turn of the 5th and 6th century. The band formed one windy warm autumn night in October 2017 in Częstochowa. The creative concept of the group was born out of a common passion for finding non-standard composition and arrangement solutions and fascination with native Slavic culture. In February 2019 the group released its first album Djavena.
