Diamin
Amapola Ibieta aka Diamin is a Chilean born DJ and vinyl collector based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has been working in a record store for many years, where she started to improve her style and mixing techniques. Diamin's sets cover a wide range of musical genres. Her particular mapping of electronic music explores the roots of house and techno, focusing on how these sounds can be combined with synth pop, ambient and krautrock, and subgenres such as breakbeat, new beat, electro and acid. Since 2014, she has been part of the DJ collective Family Affair, which is still active and influential in the local scene and beyond. A few years ago, she headlined a party called Transitions at Cocoliche in Buenos Aires.
Diamin has recently played in Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru and Paraguay, sharing the stage with prominent artists in the electronic music scene, including Mr. White, Chris Mitchell, Ron Morelli, Moon B, Textasy, Ron Wilson, Dj Koolt, Z@P, Valesuchi and many more.
