Deutsche Oper Berlin
Deutsche Oper Berlin, in Berlin-Charlottenburg, is the biggest of three operas located in Berlin. The opera building opened in 1961, replacing the former opera building, located in the exact same place, which was destroyed during World War II. The opera house holds 1859 seats which makes it one of the biggest theatres in all of Germany.
In association with the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Komische Oper, Staatsballett and the Bühnenservice Berlin, the Deutsche Oper forms the foundation Oper in Berlin.
