Detlef Dakar

DJ, organiser, TV and radio host at the BWO collective. Sucked into the harcore continuum in the 90's at the rave and techno phase, he started to play with cassette mixing. Stepping out of the turbulences of electronic dance music for some time, he found himself in London back again when the "UK garage-to-dubstep" turn was about to happen, going to the first DMZ parties, documenting them (you can still find his rare photos of Mala or Loefah from that time around the internet) and starting the BWO parties and radio show DvaUnlimited after re-locating to Bratislava. His DJ sets are always a great opportunity to check on the state of clued-up urban dance music.
