Der Asiate

Andy Zirnstein aka The Asian is a German rapper with Vietnamese roots, who lives and works together with the rapper Lumaraa in Leipzig. At the age of 17 he tried his hand at hip-hop battles as a freestyle rapper. From 2006 he began to write his own texts under the pseudonym Der Asiate (The Asian). In choosing his artist's name, he turned to rapper B-Tight, who also portrayed himself as "The Negro." Two years after the release of his first song Wahre Liebe (True love), he published his debut album, which appeared in 2009 under the title Asiatainment. This was followed by many concert tours, festival appearances and music collaborations with other artists as Mach One, Weekend, ÉSMaticx, Metrickz, Punch Arogunz, 4Tune, Happy Beckmann, Sorgenkind, refleXion, Ahmed , Emgi, Mc Maik, Murrath86, Mr. No Name, Dollar John and T-Jey, as well as with his girlfriend Lumaraa, with whom he recorded several singles, including Für die Ewigkeit (For eternity), Wir sind die Polizei (We are the police) or JUDAS. He also supported Lumaraa on her "Kämpfernat(o)ur-Tour".
