Demon Head
Copenhagen, 2012. Occult rituals seem to have finally paid off. The spirits of the early seventies rise again, driving into the bodies of five young men. They join together in the sign of the Great Beast. Their name: Demon Head. Bassist Fuglsang, drummer Wittus, vocalist Ferreira Larsen and the two guitarists Gjerlufsen and Gjerluff Nielsen could actually represent something like the reincarnation Black Sabbaths or Pentagrams. Bluesy Doom at a time before the term heavy metal was used: this is how the sound of the Danish quintet can be described. The first releases were in 2014 in the form of a four-track demo and a two-track single, which in addition to Winterland also contains the band hymn Demon Head. The debut LP Ride the Wilderness follows just a year later.
