Dance Well
The healing power of dance for every body, regardless of age, experience, or physical ability.
Regular dance meetings create a space for people whose lives have been affected by Parkinson’s disease or other movement limitations. They are an invitation to self-care, to the joy of movement, and to the experience of togetherness in the here and now.
The sessions are led by a team of experienced professional artists trained as part of the international project Dance Well: Cécile da Costa, Barbora Látalová, Markéta Perroud, Hana Polanská, Markéta Vacovská, and Roman Zotov-Mikshin.
About Dance Well
The Dance Well project continuously works with a specific group of people, people living with Parkinson's disease or similar movement limitations, and through dance, it involves them in social and cultural life.
The project draws on international experience and shares good practice with local Parkinson's patients and those interested in developing the Dance Well community. It brings new experiences, skills and job opportunities to professional artists, clearly points out the beneficial role of dance in improving the quality of life of individuals and society, and above all helps the target group to become more integrated into society.
