CTM Festival 2019 Opening Club Night: Anastasia Kristensen + Kikelomo + more
CTM is opening its 2019 edition standing under the motto 'Persistence' with a night organized together with the Georgian club Bassiani. Despite the restrictive political Circumstances in Georgia the heads behind Bassiani have managed making themselves a name with an outstanding program all pver the world in the last years. Hereby the club unites an engaged scene addressing difficulties in society and offering one of few places for Tbilisi's LGBTQ community. To celebrate the power of this joint dance floor Bassiani residents HVL, Zitta, NDRX and Kancheli get together with Iranian duo Temp-Illusion, the Berlin-based Russian producer Machine Woman as well as Copenhagen-based Anastasia Kristensen, who will perform her international live debut this night.
At Panorama Bar Kikelomo delivers a mixture of UK garage, grime and bass music. One of the most interesting new Norwegian club artists is DJ Svani who moves outside of her so far best known home turf towards Kuduro, Dembow, hip-hop and R&B. quest?onmarc from New York are associated with Qween Beat and the House of Amazon and combine ballroom, house, metal and industrial creating unusual sets. Fast, fluid DJ sets are also a trademark of Rui Ho who is publishing on the Shanghai-based Genome 6.66 Mbp label. Her sound comprises many influences from East and West. The rest of the night is dedicated to two residents: Tama Sumo and ://about blank's Resom.
