Córeczka

Córeczka presents a picture of the war in the Donbass (in 2013 and 2014) through the eyes of a young woman. The eponymous daughter decides to become a volunteer in the war zone. The events presented in the context of the outbreak of war in Ukraine become vivid and topical; we can read them almost as an account from the front line. While working on the text, the creators of the performance ask themselves how to talk about the war, how to stage it. Córeczka is an attempt to understand the chaos that explodes inside you when a bomb goes off in your house. And then turns it into an energy that saves. Tamara Duda dedicated this text to the thousands of nameless volunteers who are fighting in Ukraine.
