Zgniłość

Zgniłość is a new band of the Krakow poet Marcin Świetlicki and pianist Michał Wandzilak (Świetliki). They invited young jazz musicians from Tri-City: saxophonist Michał Ciesielski and trumpeter David Lipka (Tymon Tymański's brass section), double bass player Maciej Sadowski and drummer Tomasz Koper. Zgniłość has hatched from the band Jazztliki playing jazz covers of the greatest hits of Świetliki. The current musical trajectory of rottenness could be described as post post post post post post-ironic-post-cold wave-postyass. The line-up boldly refers to the best Pomeranian and Cracow music traditions. Recently, Rotteness has visited Poland with a tour promoting the second album of the band entitled "The Righteous". Recently, Zgniłość visited Poland with a tour promoting the band's second album entitled "Seven Cities". The album contains, apart from original compositions, a number of surprising musical reinterpretations, such as Mmmorderstwo or Przysiadalność.
