Wrekmeister Harmonies have announced a tour promoting their latest album, _We Love to Look at the Carnage_, featuring guest musicians known from Swans and Xiu Xiu projects. In Warsaw, Fleshworld and 4dots will play alongside them.
Wrekmeister Harmonies is a Chicago-based music project led by producer and composer JR Robinson and multi-instrumentalist Esther Shaw. The group’s name derives directly from the memorable film by Hungarian director Béla Tarr. The duo oscillates around heavy post-rock sounds, metal doom, noise, minimalist music or drone. The artists themselves define themselves as “pastoral doom”. Their spectrum of their artistic experiments is wide, as is the list of musicians who have worked with the group over the years (including Ken Vandermark, Thor Harris, Jamie Stewart and David Yow).
A five-person band from Krakow, dealing with uncertainty, change, unobvious beauty and unnamed emotions. Fleshworld is an unpleasant, noisy and melodic post-hardcore, evoking nostalgia, regret and anxiety. Fleshworld was formed in 2010 as an electronic-post-rock duo. In each successive incarnation, the band gradually moved away from their original direction, creating music that was becoming heavier, more and more disturbing and aggressive. In 2019 the second album The Essence Has Changed, but the Details Remain was released. The album combines blackened hardcore elements with melancholic screamo and psychedelic improvisation.
4dots was established in 2012 by Bartosz Badacz (ex Obscure Sphinx), Jerzy Robert Chodkowski (ex Phobh) and Kamil Stankiewicz (ex Atrophia). After some time they split their ways with Bartosz Badacz. 2015 brought a new guitarist – Wiktor Jarawka, also known from the band Oneiric.
