Favorite fragments of soundtracks composed by Ennio Morricone for such masterpieces of world cinema as Misja, Once in the Wild West, Django, Cinema Paradiso, Nienawistna Ósemka, Once Upon a Time in America, or Dobry, bad and ugly, will be performed by an orchestra, choir and soloists of over 100 people. In addition, great music will be accompanied by images recalling the most famous film frames, turning an ordinary concert into an unforgettable multimedia spectacle. The project, prepared musically by the excellent conductor Marcin Wolniewski, was a great international success in 2018, gaining recognition of the audience in the most famous concert halls of Europe, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Danish Theater in Copenhagen, Kulturpalast in Dresden. The project is a tribute to Ennio Morricone, author of music for over 500 films, winner of Oscars, Golden Globes and other significant awards. His music has been gaining popularity over the years, as well as crowds of faithful fans. He has collaborated with the greatest directors of contemporary cinema, to which they belong: Quentin Tarantino, Brian De Palma, Sergio Leone, Giuseppe Tornatore, and Adrian Lynn. Today Morricone is one of the best contemporary film composers.
