Thar Ai + Miasto Gniewu + Whitewater
Thar Ai, a Wrocław-based alternative metal/rock band, returns to play live after a year-long break with a new vocalist and new material. Miasto Gniewu - it's hard to define their main stream, but undoubtedly it's music full of emotions, engaging, honest and uncompromising, created in Polish. Despite 2 years of activity, the band made its phonographic debut already in 2016. Released in April, the EP was warmly welcomed by the industry portals, the album was appreciated by the editors of Deathmagnetic and Wybieram Kultura, among others.
Whitewater - the beginnings of the band reach 2015. The group was formed on the ruins of the K-I-W-I formation, where its current members met. Initially, the Whitewater team was supplemented by Jason Barwick, frontman of The Brew. After a series of concerts and the release of their debut album, Whitewater and Jason Barwick unexpectedly parted. For Whitewater, this meant that they had to face the challenge of finding a new frontman. The internal recruitment in the Whitewater camp, as a result of which Jędrzej stood behind the microphone, entailed the need to develop a new sound. Following his inspirations, primarily the path trampled by Josh Homme when he was not yet filling the stadiums of Queens Of The Stone Age, Whitewater's members turned to the gloomy rock stoner. Their sound was defined by sparing vocals and guitars sounding like 75 balls of mescaline in Raoul Duke's trunk.
