Riverside will return with more Polish concerts on the “I'm Your Private Wasteland” tour.
The tour will take the band to the biggest Polish cities, omitted in the previous year. These will be the last performances of the band before a long break – a grand finale and a summary of their largest and longest concert tour. It will also feature the most extensive production design yet, the setlist will be modified and the band promises suprises.
Riverside is one of the most famous Polish rock bands abroad, which has developed its own unique style on the border of rock, progressive rock and metal over their nearly two decades of activity. The leader of the band Mariusz Duda repeatedly emphasizes in interviews Riverside’s attachment to emotional melodies, which on the last releases of the band is already the foundation of the sound. Compositions such as The Depth of Self-Delusion or River Down Below were charting on the first place of the Third Program’s Hits List for many weeks. The band has recorded seven studio albums. In their career they played a lot of foreign concerts in Poland, Europe, the United States and South America, which is why they were often called a Polish Export Good, something the band cares little about. However, they do care about playing concerts. The tour Wasteland Tour, promoting the seventh album of the Varsovians has already covered over 100 concerts around the world. Its grand finale was announced by the band for April 2020 in six largest Polish cities. Stage production, new compositions and modified setlist will ensure even those who have already had the opportunity to participate in the "Wasteland Tour” will get a completely new show.
