Rasp Lovers

RASP Lovers is a project of guitarist and composer Szymon Wójcik, which was created in the summer of 2018. It is a combination of Łódź Romanticism, Sub-Warsaw Alternative, Mokotów Schizophrenia and Kutno Pun. Breaking patterns, playing with form and convention, juxtaposing seemingly distant elements, creating musical oxymorons and contrasts are the main assumptions underlying the band's music. It is hard to classify it into any genre, it is a mix of punk, avant-garde jazz, electronics, improvised music and alternative rock. Jerzy Mączyński (tenor and baritone saxophone), Szymon Wójcik (guitar and composition), Marcel Baliński (piano and MICROkorg), Rafał Różalski (double bass), Bartosz Szablowski (drums).
