Ragnar Ólafsson
Ragnar Ólafsson is a versatile musician, multi-instrumentalist and composer from Iceland. He is a founding member of several bands, with which he has released over a dozen albums. He played a diverse range of music in these bands – from jazz, through opera, folk, pop, rock up to metal music. The most famous of his groups is Árstíðir, with whom he released four studio albums (two of which reached the top of the album chart in Iceland) and gave concerts in more than 30 countries. The artist also wrote music for several films. In 2016, Ragnar Ólafsson started a solo project under his own name, showing another side of his work. This time it's calm, atmospheric playing in singer-songwriter, folk and alt country style. Ragnar Ólafsson will fly to Poland for a short tour during which he will play with the violinist David Ra-Champari. It will promote Ragnar's debut album Urges, which has already received the first very positive reviews in the music press.
