Poliça

Poliça is an American band founded in 2011. Their sound is a mix of synth - pop, R&B and alternative rock. The band includes Channy Leaneagh (vocals, synthesizer), Chris Bierden (bass guitar), Drew Christopherson (drums), Ben Ivascu (drums) and Ryan Olson (production). The group has recorded four studio albums. After a serious accident of the singer, the band returns on tour with a new album - When We Stay Alive. The album, however, does not describe any tragic events, but talks about the redemptive power of rewriting history to heal and regain its identity. When We Stay Alive is a new confidence in sound, reflected in strong songs, anchored by heavy synthesizers and pulsating rhythms of the co-founder and producer Ryan Olson. Over the past few years, Olson and Leaneagh have collaborated extensively with musicians from around the world, such as Bon Iver.
