Łydka Grubasa is a band that is hard to classify unambiguously. Musically, it is a resultant of all rock genres, often mixed in breakneck configurations. Texts are current publicity dressed in humorous, sarcastic, sometimes blunt lyrics. The mix guarantees a lot of guitar energy, very positive aura coming from the stage and a dose of laughter combined with reflection. The group was formed in 2002 and has released three studio albums – Bąż Woa, Perpetuum Debile and O-dur C-ból. The last album, recorded in Hertz Studio in Białystok, was a breakthrough in the history of Łydka, guaranteeing the group a large number of fans, tens of concerts a year and hundreds of thousands of streaming plays. In 2018, Łydka performed at the Pol’and’Rock festival, after a very successful concert and is competing for the Golden Bączek award, which guarantees a performance on the Big Stage PnR 2019. As the band members themselves emphasize, Łydka always tries to play and sound as good as possible. The priority is also mutual respect and bond with the audience expressed in such a way that at their concert everyone can feel a part of it and a full participant. No barriers, no walls – just rock’n’roll.
