Kroke & Urna

Concert promoting the album Ser (Awakening) - a work of the Kroke formation and Ural, a Mongolian singer. Endowed with an unusual voice, Urn communicates with her listeners through music outside the conventions. Exceeds all language and cultural barriers thanks to its dynamic and ascending improvisations. Her works evoke nomadic life on the Mongolian steppes. Born in a family of nomadic shepherds in the meadows of Ordos in Inner Mongolia, Urna carries the spirit of the country in its music, passing it on to listeners around the world. Faithful to the music of her roots, she marks her new direction. Her latest compositions are emphasized by free, brush-like strokes, improvisations inspired by many years of experience with other cultures and musicians and life.

Kroke is a band that has been triumphant on the world music scene for over 25 years. Initially, it was associated only with klezmer music, and in its current work, it draws inspiration from ethnic music and proprietary improvisations. In this way, the band created its own style, floating above borders and forms, which was appreciated not only by the audience, but also by other artists around the world.
