Jaye Jayle

Their new album No Trails and Other Unholy Paths documents Jaye Jayle's transportable devastation and hallucinatory sound mantras in all their glory. With fellow bandmates Todd Cook (Shipping News, The For Carnation) on bass, Neal Argabright (Phantom Family Halo, Freakwater) on drums, and Corey Smith (Phantom Family Halo) on auxiliary instruments, Patterson plays with influences from neo-folk, Krautrock experiments in repetition, the darkest blues, the nihilism in the Indian Rock of the Midwest and the analogous vibrations of the early Tangerine Dreams.

The album is full of suspense and anticipation, with an increased push-and-pull effect on tracks like Marry Us and the second song titled No Trail when songwriter Emma Ruth Rundle adds call and response vocals to the mix.
