CTM Festival 2019: Croatian Amor + John Bence + More

The duo Schtum distills oscillating textures and interferences from noise, feedback and sub bass towards dense, frightening and energetic sound masses. John Bence has released the ghostly Kill on Yves Tumor's label Grooming in 2018. In the tripartite work, taking musical inspirations from Middle Aged vocal art, punk and industrial, Bence tells a story about murder, guilt and sin from the perspective of a desperate protagonist. The man behind the nam Croatian Amor is Loke Rahbek, co-founder of the Posh Isolation label. He will also release his sixth album Isa through the imprint, first introduced to public during CTM 2019. Zoo are a punk band from Yogyakarta around Senyawa vocalist Rully Shabara. Initially known for their fast, uncompromisingly noisy sound the band has recently developed towards a new style of experimental rock taking up elements of traditional ritual music. Their new concept album Khawagaka, which will be released via Yes No Wave soon, serves as an expression of a fictive, bygone culture designed by the band including an own language, alphabet and spiritual system.

Entrance with CTM 2019 and Connect Festival passes or presale tickets, 18 years and older.
