Corazón español
The festival concerts at the Troja Chateau have traditionally been dedicated to Spanish music. Perhaps this has been the influence of the Habsburgs, the omnipresent patrons of the Prague baroque villa, whose dominion on the Iberian Peninsula in the 16th and 17th century is known as the “Golden Age”. It was during the Habsburg’s rule, after all, that Gaspar Sanz, Juan Hidalgo, or Sebastián Durón from Brihuega were active in Calanda, Madrid, and Brihuega.
