Bazylika Nawiedzenia Najświętszej Maryi Panny

A historic Roman Catholic church of the Carmelites. The visceral Carmelites serving here take care of two miraculous images of the Virgin Mary – the Scapular Mary and the Sand Lady, also known as the "Lady of Krakow". In the church wall there is a stone slab with an imprinted image of a foot, placed on the side of Garbarska Street. This is the so-called Queen Jadwiga's foot, related to the legend of the queen's visit to the building site and her gift to one of the stonemasons.
