Coma
Coma is known to music fans for its energetic and spectacular concerts, which combine elements of poetry, music, theatre and film. The group was formed in 1998. In May 2004, it released its first album entitled Pierwsze Wyjście z Mroku which was warmly welcomed by critics, industry and, most importantly, by the audience. The album was awarded, among others, Fryderyk in the category: Album of the Year – Rock. In the same year, Coma won the 25th Actor Song Review in Wrocław. Over the following years the band released 5 studio albums, 3 of which were covered with platinum and gold, and 3 concert albums (Platinum and Golden). For each of the Polish studio albums the band received a Fryderyk statuette in the category Album of the Year – Rock, and in the category: The band of the Year and the Vocalist of the Year - Piotr Rogucki. Coma has released two English-language albums: Excess and Don't Set Your Dogs On Me. Throughout the whole period since the first release Coma has been touring continuously. In the years 2007–2009 Coma supported Pearl Jam, Linking Park during the concert at the Stadium in Chorzów, and also performed at the Metal Hammer Festival in Spodek supporting Tool.
