About Collegium českých filharmoniků
Collegium of Czech Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1995 by Jaroslav Kroft in an effort to enrich the work of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra with creation and activity that does not occur in a symphonic work. Collegium’s repertoire includes a vast array of already performed concert pieces from the baroque to contemporary modern music. At Collegium’s seventeen years of musical path they began with Baroque, which they recorded on their first CD – the Italian Baroque. However baroque music was soon not enough and so the orchestra included in their repertoire centuries of music as well as contemporary works.
