Colatura
Colatura creates music that moves between dream and reality – sometimes dreamy, sometimes harsh, with characteristic fuzzy guitars, catchy melodies, and honest storytelling. The band, which had been active on the Brooklyn scene for many years, moved to Pittsburgh in 2024 and currently operates between the two cities.
Their new EP, If I’m Being Honest, will be released on August 1st on Easy Does It Records. Produced by Nixon Boyd (Hollerado, Dizzy), the record sounds like a series of nighttime confessions—introspective, nostalgic, and cathartic. Colatura has earned recognition from media outlets such as Brooklyn Vegan, Flood, and Under The Radar, appeared in rotation on KEXP radio.
