Ciałoprzestrzeń

The second edition of Instytut Teatralny’s Ciałoprzestrzeń is a continuation of the program that began in May 2020.

The workshop program includes a variety of activities, from the conscious and critical use of the body to the conscious relinquishment of control, following intuition. It is addressed to actors, dancers, performers and all those who are close to the concepts of movement and body. In this installment, participants will be able to take part in classes with characters known from the previous edition – Iwona Olszowska, Katarzyna Pastuszak and Paweł Konior, as well as with new tutors – Alicja Miszczor and Tomasz Pomersbach. The cycle will last from February to June, and each month a different presenter will share their practice and working method.

The idea of the project remains unchanged – on one hand the program will support the choreographic and dance circles and on the other hand it will be addressed to everyone who wants to develop their skills of working with body and movement. Diversity and community is an important aspect of the program, therefore artists from different cities and representing different fields of choreographic and dance activity have been invited to cooperate. They will conduct workshops where imagination, shape, space, senses, intuition, weight and tension, but also lightness and effortlessness meet.
