CETI

CETI was formed in 1989 by Grzegorz Kupczyk, the singer of the seminal Polish metal outfit Turbo, and producer and keyboardist Maria Wietrzykowska. Over more than three decades of activity, CETI's sound evolved from direct hard rock—less heavy than Turbo's output at the time—towards melodic metal inspired by European power metal and prog. They have released 12 studio albums of their own music, including several credited to Kupczyk solo; their discography also includes a number of side releases, such as their 2013 Metallica tribute album and a live album recorded with the Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra. Their latest release was a 2022 self-titled LP that the band members describe as their Black Album.
