Buzzcocks

Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band formed in Manchester in 1976 by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Pete Shelley and singer and songwriter Howard Devoto.

Buzzcocks' music places significant emphasis on melody and singability. They are therefore often referred to as the "forefathers of pop punk," even as the "Beatles of punk," and sometimes as the band that inspired the development of groups such as Green Day and The Offspring.
