Burónka
The project was born out of the fascination with the vocal tradition of Kurpiów Puszczy Zielonej (Green Forest Kurpie Kurpie). The contemporary language of musical expression is intertwined with a, deeply rooted in tradition, approach to vocal narration. Songs from Bronisława Świder ze wsi Bandysie and from archival recordings have been interpreted by the authors. During the Polish Radio Festival "Nowa Tradycja" 2017, the ensemble received the second prize "for suggestive transfer of the character of Kurpie songs" and the Audience Award "Burza Braw.
