The Bull In China project was founded in 2018 and has since released a number of singles, including No Brainer, I Long 4 U, and Girl Of The Sun.

These songs have also been featured on foreign music blogs and are played on Prague radio stations Expres FM and Radio 1, as well as the Slovak music station Rádio_FM. After their first, more house- and instrumental-oriented songs (see, for example, Feeel, which is also the theme song for the On Air program on kytary.cz, hosted by Pavel

Kučera is the host and which has received positive reactions from the influential French dance label Kitsuné Music), Bull In China began to lean towards the influences of indie pop and nu-disco and started collaborating with Mikoláš Růžička. In 2022, he released his debut EP Mild, which included the songs No Brainer and I Long 4 U, as well as a cover version of Nothing Can Come Between Us by Sade. Kučera, as Bull In China, is also behind several remixes – among others, for Czech electronic legend Ohm Square, Slovak band Puding Pani Elvisovej, and singer Anna Vaverková. Even before Bull In China was formed, he created several of his own songs and remixes (e.g. for Tata Bojs, The Prostitutes, and Kill The Dandies!) under the banner of The Fakes project.

"I had been thinking about the Bull In China project, including its name, for about ten years before it came into being. To a certain extent, it is a natural continuation of my DJ career with the duo The Fakes, which I formed together with Šimon Šafránek. From playing other people's songs, I gradually moved on to remixing them and eventually to creating my own music. Although Bull In China's work is still firmly rooted in electronic dance music, my goal is to write and produce distinctive pop songs, which I consider to be the royal discipline of music. In my case, they are also heavily influenced by the 1970s and 1980s—a period when global pop was at its peak thanks to artists such as Hall & Oates, Chic, Michael Jackson, George Michael, Sade, Tears For Fears, Simply Red, Spandau Ballet, and the Pet Shop Boys, and at the same time was the music that shaped my adolescence and musical taste," says Kučera.
