Theatrical adaptation of the life stories of people who emigrated to Argentina in 1900–1946.

“Using the etude method, we tried to invent, experience and understand together what Europeans felt and what they went through in the first half of the 20th century and what provoked or forced them to emigrate in their personal or historical life. An economic situation in times of crisis and world wars, a political coup, persecution, lost love, or just a desire for change and a better life in the Promised Land? The stories are about a strong and courageous group of people who managed to change their lives from day to day, to leave everything and to undergo a long journey by ship with an unclear end. From this group of people came what we dance today under the name Argentine Tango, and we dedicate our game to these people,” explain the creators of the performance.
