Gagarin, I Will Miss You / Domenico De Orsi / Italy 2018 / 20 min. – Where has everyone gone? The landscape is completely devoid of people except for one man and one woman. What happened? Maybe someone knew but they’re gone too. Eternal loneliness is interrupted by a newcomer, Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin.
Take / Oliver Remma / Estonia 2020 / 11 min. – Who wouldn’t want to make a perfect film? Timmu is a director who needs his shot to be exactly how he imagines it but so far it’s more of a series of unfortunate events. This film shot in 16mm is a distinctive and sometimes surreal homage to filmmaking.
The Depths / Ariane Louis-Seize / Canada 2019 / 22 min. – What’s hidden in the depths of ponds, lakes, and oceans? What’s hidden in the depths of the lives of those who are close to us? Rest assured that you can come across secrets which you might not be able to deal with. And that this descent will be exciting. Just keep this in mind as you put on your scuba diving equipment.
S p a c e s / Nora Štrbová / Czech republic 2020 / 8 min. – Animated documentary about the personal story of the director, Nora Štrbová, and her brother, whose brain tumor destroyed his memory centers. The story goes hand in hand with the experimental form of the film which depicts relaxed perception of reality as it changed through time.
