Father of the Bride / Rhys Marc Jones / United Kingdom 2020 / 15 min. – Do you like weddings? Everyone looks stunning in the pictures. Smiles, beautiful dresses. Also in the memories. The beautiful speeches, the drunken shenanigans. But what happens somewhere where there’s no one to take pictures to tell another story? Could it be something scary and dark, something that might destroy the joyous atmosphere?

Community gardens / Vytautas Katkus / Lithuania 2019 / 15 min. – Jurijus is back from Albany to live in the Lithuanian countryside with his parents. Home feels like a place where the time stopped twenty years ago. Long civil shots capture the detached and mundane relationship between a young man, his father, and the entire community.

Dog Days / Zuzanna Grajcewicz / Poland 2019 / 15 min. – Since all the animals disappeared from the world, a new company will make them for you by having their employees turn into horses and dogs. It doesn’t solve loneliness, though, and humanity is also questioned.

Greetings From Nigeria / Peter Hoferica / Slovakia 2020 / 17 min. – Nigerian prince Dimka Ali Betzhava asks for your help. In return for a humble donation, he promises half of his inheritance – 12 million Euros. His email becomes the center of attention in a Slovak village. Through fragments, this film details the microcosm of one contemporary (un)broken family.
