Bogdan Sėkalski

The breezy, rhythmic, danceable form and catchy melodies belie the serious and unpleasant themes of Bogdan Sękalski’s work: failure, awkwardness and malice. The airy psychedelia of his productions is reminiscent of the early work of Animal Collective or Mid-Air Thief, filtered through a uniquely Polish Gen-Z indiscriminating lens that rejects the decorum of experimentalism and pop music in equal measure, indulging in excursions into the extremes of both.
