Benedicte Maurseth & Sigbjørn Apeland

The Hardanger violin, with its typical sound and repertoire including suggestive rhythmic patterns, will be the starting point for the pieces that Benedict Maurseth, player of this Norwegian folk violin, will play solo or in duet with organist Sigbjørn Apeland. The programme will also include the world premiere of a new work Mirra by Benedicte Maurseth, which the pair of artists will perform together with the PMP Ensemble.
