Bazilika sv. Mikuláša

A significant monument of the city of Trnava is the Basilica of St. Nicholas. It is sometimes called St. Nicholas Cathedral or Rough Church. Visually, it stands at the highest point of the city, on the site of a former medieval market place. Thanks to the loving image of the Virgin Mary of Trnava, it has become an important place of pilgrimage.
