Basia Gąsienica Giewont, also known as Bashka, is a Polish singer, theatre and musical actress. Graduate of the Academy of Music in Kraków. Winner of the Grand Prix at the International Edith Piaf Festival, among others. She cooperated with Adam Sztaba on the album Moje pocieszenie, with Grzegorz Turnau she performed in the duo Motyliada on the album Fabryka klamek, with Andrzej Poniedzielski she had the pleasure to perform in the concert Wywar z przywar immortalized on the album, She recorded songs on the album Krajobraz Rzeczy Pięknych by Andrzej Zarycki together with other singers such as Zbigniew Wodecki, Anna Szałapak, Grzegorz Wilk, Janusz Radek. She has worked on the projects “Freddie Mercury - opera rock”, “Michael Jackson - symphonically”.
