Barbakan
The Barbican is an element of Warsaw's medieval fortifications, the reconstruction of which began in the 1930s. The reconstruction work was interrupted by World War II. It was rebuilt from war damages together with the Old Town. Inside the Barbican, a permanent exhibition is presented, showing the transformation of the Barbican and the entire city walls over the centuries. The Barbican exposition is open only in the summer.
