Metal, Pop | Babymetal is a Japanese metal idol band made up of singers Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-Metal) and Moa Kikuchi (Moametal), who are supported by a backing band called Kami Band.
The concept of Babymetal is a fusion of the seemingly contradictory genres Metal and J-Pop. This style is called Kawaii Metal (by kawaii, "cute" or "delightful") and includes elements of Speed Metal, Death Metal, Black Metal, Industrial Metal and EDM.
They released the albums Babymetal (2014), Metal Resistance (2016) and Metal Galaxy (2019).
