Avant Art Festival 2020 Warszawa

Avant Art Festival 2020 is two cities, 8 partner locations, 13 days and 27 music projects of Polish independent scene. This time the festival will focus on offering support for the local scene – artists who found themselves in a difficult concert situation, but also for cultural participants longing for musical events. Avant Art Festival has been presenting artists from the avant-garde music, noise and experimental electronics scenes since 2008 – for twelve years in Wrocław and four years in Warsaw. This year’s edition of Avant Art Festival will also be the beginning of a long-term activity focused on improving the professional situation of independent musicians. This task is closely related to our three-year activity for the benefit of the cultural environment in Wroclaw. During the two panel discussions, we will talk about the need and ways of associating the musicians. The festival will attempt to initiate talks on the establishment of a representation of a Polish independent music scene.
