Wojciech Traczyk

A graduate of the Jazz Department of PSM F. Chopin in Warsaw in the double bass class of Zbigniew Wegehaupt and the Jazz Department of the Music Academy in Katowice in the double bass class of Adam Kowalewski. His artistic search is focused on building an individual language based on a broadly understood musical tradition. He works with many musicians and co-creates projects presenting various styles. He has performed with such artists as: Marcin Masecki, Maria Peszek, Kasia Nosowska, Music Therapy, Plastics, Timeless, Television, Zimpel & Traczyk & Rasz Trio. The commonality of his projects is the originality of the sound and the emotional power of expression.
